Director of Sales and Revenue Management

When Sharon joined Plamondon Hospitality Partners in August of 2006, she brought a knowledgeable background of the hospitality industry, having served as the Director of Sales at the Holiday Inn Holidome & Conference Center in Frederick, Maryland.

She began her career with PHP as the General Manager of the Frederick Courtyard, and quickly expanded her responsibilities, serving next as the Dual General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott and SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Hagerstown, Maryland. She was also an Area General Manager, overseeing the Frederick hotel portfolio which includes Courtyard, Fairfield, Residence Inn, and TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Frederick.

Today, Sharon contributes to the continued success of PHP as the Corporate Director of Sales & Revenue Management. When she stepped into this role, PHP owned and operated 10 hotels; today she manages the current portfolio of 16 hotels across Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.

Throughout her career, Sharon has been recognized for her success, earning the 2012 Diamond General Manager Courtyard by Marriott and 2012 General Manager of the Year Courtyard by Marriott awards. She also received the 2014 Stars of the Industry Maryland Hotel Lodging Association Hotelier of the Year honor for her hard work and dedication at PHP.

Working at PHP, Sharon especially enjoys fostering long-lasting relationships with guests and community partners. She also takes pride in mentoring talented colleagues who are dedicated to consistently striving for service excellence in all they do, as well as watching these talented individuals grow in their careers within the company.

Sharon loves seeing the positive growth in the Frederick community, having lived here for 45 years. Working for a locally-based, thriving hospitality company and living in the same thriving community is something that brings her joy and purpose to her every day.
