The Plamondon Company’s Director of Human Resources, Katrina, loves working with people and being in a support role for the company. Each day is different for Katrina, who oversees the HR department, including benefits, employee relations, development and training, talent management, policy and procedures and more.

After earning a bachelors degree in business administration and marketing, and a masters degree in strategic leadership and organizational development, Katrina went on to work in various job functions, including marketing, training and talent development for leaders, all of which she attributes to her success in human resources.

Katrina truly loves her job. She spends a lot of her free time learning more about the human resource industry, and serving as a member of the Frederick chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management. Katrina also devotes a lot of her time to continuing education. She is an SPHR certified professional, and attends activities and training throughout the year to maintain her credentials. Katrina also spends time lending her HR knowledge to local nonprofits and small organizations.

Katrina really enjoys getting to know people, and loves that she is involved with the things that make the company hum. The guests might not directly see her work, but they benefit from the training, enthusiasm and knowledge that she brings to work each day.
