Earlier this month, our teams came together to participate in the annual @unitedwayfrederick Day of Action, a single-day volunteer event which connected 300+ volunteers and local employers with over 30 local nonprofits and agencies. From starting the day at the @frederickkeys stadium with other volunteers to rolling up our sleeves out in the community, our teams dedicated their time and skills across impactful local initiatives.

We are thrilled to celebrate Diane Girgenti, Area Director of Sales for our Frederick & Hagerstown Marriott hotels, on her 10-year anniversary with Plamondon Hospitality Partners!

Since joining in 2016, Diane’s passion for hospitality and dedication to the team quickly led her into the sales division. From Sales Coordinator to Sales Manager, and now as Area Director of Sales, her career path showcases what is possible when talent and dedication meet continuous growth.

Recently, Plamondon Hospitality Partners brought all 14 of our General Managers to Frederick, MD for 2.5 days of intensive learning, strategic collaboration, and connection. Our itinerary focused on covering high-impact operational priorities like budget planning, property safety, personal development and reflection, and real-word leadership scenarios.

Because operational excellence also relies on trust and strong communication, our team stepped out of the training room to put their problem-solving skills to the test at @escapethisfrederick!

Investing in our General Managers ensures that every property across our portfolio is led by empowered, highly capable leaders who deliver exceptional guest and business outcomes daily. A massive thank you to all 14 of our GMs for their dedication, energy, and leadership across our properties!

Today, we are proud to celebrate a major milestone with Sharon Bear, our Corporate Director of Sales and Revenue Management.

Sharon’s 20-year career with Plamondon Hospitality Partners is a powerful reflection of leadership at every scale across our portfolio. Starting as General Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott Frederick, Sharon went on to serve as Dual GM for our Courtyard and SpringHill Suites properties in Hagerstown, an operational tenure highlighted by being named Marriott International's National 2010 Courtyard General Manager of the Year. After guiding our Frederick Campus as Area GM, Sharon was elevated yet again to her current corporate role, where she oversees sales and revenue strategy across our entire regional footprint. Through every role, Sharon has brought experience, dedication, and a commitment to the people and properties she supports.

That’s why Associate Appreciation Week is one of our favorite times of the year! To thank our team for their incredible dedication, we went with an "All-Star" theme to celebrate our real MVPs––the team members who step up for our guests, support one another, and keep everything running seamlessly.

Throughout the week, our teams took time to unwind and celebrate together. Across our hotels, associates found fun ways to mark the occasion with their teams — from cheering on the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars, to firing up the grill, beating the heat with snow cones, and bringing out their competitive spirit with a friendly game of “BB3” baseball. It was a great week of connection, appreciation, and celebration for our hotel teams.
